The Hot G.R.I.T.S. Show

The Hot G.R.I.T.S. (Girls Raised in the South) Show is a smart, funny, classy, and southern, yet diverse, take on all things relevant.  A fearless and compelling natural movement laced in integrity, truth, and elevated thought, Hot G.R.I.T.S. is here to give a voice to those often overlooked in mainstream media: young, women of color who are fulfilling their purpose, sharing their experiences, and shaping their realities.

The Hot G.R.I.T.S. Show will serve up a harmonious blend on the following four topics that will inform and entertain listeners: (1) Political & Community Affairs, (2) Economic Development, (3) Personal Well-Being, and (4) Arts & Culture.  Additionally, as a subset of the Arts & Culture segment, prepare to be introduced to music highlighting local and national artists both signed and unsigned.

Afropolitan”

Afropolitan is an African Born-Atlanta bred-Midwest residing lover of books, wine, and sneakers. She spends her days building strength and power with working families by winning livable wages, health care benefits, and full-time work for thousands of property service workers; and her nights uncovering the many cultural gems Cincinnati has to offer.

You can usually find her where the worker's revolution meets hip hop, contemporary African art, and Cincinnati politics.

Trinity Star is known for her high energy, financial savviness, shrewdness and unapologetic nature for keeping it real which is guaranteed to keep The Hot G.R.I.T.S. Show listeners on their toes.

Trinity Star is a Ft. Lauderdale raised, Haitian-American community leader who exemplifies personal business career success, dynamic leadership qualities and the unique ability to challenge unconventional thinking with an unyielding desire and hope to change the world. Trinity Star is an advocate for young people, for women, and for Black Americans.

A sweet “Georgia Peach” from Atlanta, Klever is spiritually grounded, sassy, and soulful.  Challenging the status quo as a corporate America business woman, professional actress, model, and writer, Klever stands up to speak life and reflect the light within us all. 

A lover of music with a crush on R&B, hip-hop, jazz, and “oldies but goodies”, this southern girl is elegance in motion, passionate yet purposeful, and committed to sharing her heart with causes that epitomize good will, integrity, and respect for all things.

“Neet”

Energetic, witty and always bringing the punch line, Neet adds a unique energy and perspective to The Hot G.R.I.T.S. Show.  She is a down south diva that believes in strengthening a community by effectively equipping its people with purpose and opportunity. 

While Neet is fairly new to the conventional airwaves, she is experienced in business, travel, and speaking her mind. From relationships to politics to economic development, Neet will always bring an opinion.
