Topics to be talked about would be issues such as housing, transportation, employment, mentoring for people who have just recently been disabled and don’t know about various services that are available to them. These are just a few examples, we will discuss any issue that concerns people with disabilities.
Host Bio: I am Skip Catanach, at the age of 31 years old I was in an accident in which my leg was amputated above the knee. I was on the way to work at about 1:00 A.M. and ran out of gas when I was trying to push my car to a gas station when I saw lights reflecting on my trunk lid, I ran to the side of the road and my left leg got pinned between the two cars, this man was drunk and known by the police to be a hit and run driver. I lost more than half of my blood, I didn’t loose consciousness. When I got to the hospital the nurse said “We will do everything we can to save your leg.” After the surgery the doctor came into my room after I woke up and he said to me “Why are you still living?”
